Querencia is a romantic, small, luxury inn on a remote ridge top, minutes from downtown Murphys, California. It features oversized rooms, private baths, huge grounds, remote location, breathtaking views, breakfast to order from a variety of choices as well as wine and appetizers in the evening. It is not your grandmother's bed and breakfast.

It's the place where you and your companion can find peace, solitude, beauty, and the time and place to rediscover yourselves and each other. Together you can have an elegant breakfast, take long walks, rest and talk undisturbed for hours, enjoy a wide variety of local activities and interests, sip local wines with accompanying appetizers, and watch the stars fall in the perfect dark.

Rates include light evening appetizers with complimentary local wine, and a full breakfast. Picnic lunches and full dinners are available at additional charge.

Please note that a minimum of a two night stay and premium rates of an additional 15% apply to the following holidays and special events:

Rates are for occupation by one or two persons, and are subject to room tax.
To guarantee your reservation, a credit card number or cash deposit for one night's stay is required. The Querencia accepts paper or plastic.

Check-out: 11:00am or through pre-arrangement

There is a $95 charge for cancellations with less than three days notice. No-shows or cancellations on the date of the arrival will be charged the entire one night price.

Querencia is a completely non-smoking facility. A $250 cleaning charge will be added to the bill of anyone found to be violating the smoking prohibition.

Information about a wide variety of Gold Country activities and options is available in the room and from your host. Guests may borrow books and video tapes from the library at no charge for the duration of their stay.

Because the gardens and grounds are for adults and are potentially dangerous, and because of the nature of the facility, Querencia is not recommended for children.

Their feathered, furred and scaled employees will appreciate you are leaving your pets at home. Please do not bring them to Querencia. Querencia cannot accommodate them.
