Back Inn Time was built in 1858 by Victor Atwood in the old "Rail City" of St. Albans. The house is a rare gem, carefully preserved. Relax in elegance without stuffiness or pretentiousness.

You will thoroughly enjoy the sumptuous bedding and cozy robes as you relax and rest peacefully, whatever room you choose. There are three smaller rooms, all with queen or full sized beds and private baths, or 2 master rooms, each with its own fireplace and private bath.

If you are arriving before 6:00 p.m. inquire about the wine and cheese package to sample local or international fine wines, local craft beers, and Vermont Cheeses

Dine in the formal dining room or enjoy a sumptuous full breakfast in the less formal café area or sunny deck. Enjoy the exquisite gardens from one of four covered porches; take in a novel in the enchanting living room, or, simply sip a cup of French press coffee or tea in one of the two sitting rooms offered by the house. Local beer, wine, and ciders are also available in our bar.
